Procrastination Breakthrough: If You Intend to Do It, Do It Now!

If there is one quality that successful people have, it is a bias towards taking positive action.  And once they reach a decision that they are going to do something, they take action.  And they take it fast.  They don't beat around the bush.  They have trained themselves to avoid procrastination like the plague.  Whether it's writing an article, doing their taxes, getting organized, or making a purchase, once they decide to do something, they take some kind of immediate action.

UK Student Scoops Up $1 Million Online--in 4 Months

Some Thoughts About the Million Dollar Home Page

Okay this is a hoot.  Or well it would be if the author wasn't so successful.  This student has obvioulsy learned how to "Think and Grow Rich."

Last week I came across an interesting article in Yahoo! about a student in the UK who managed to raise $1 million in four months for his tuition--selling pixels. 1 million pixels to be exact.  You can find a copy of this article at http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20051229/ts_nm/homepage_dc.  His idea was to create a page called the Million Dollar Home page (http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com) and sell a million pixels for $1 each (in blocks of 100 pixels).

Power Affirmations Are Not Enough

I hope this post finds you safe and well.  I'm sure you have been as moved as I have in watching the devastating damage caused by Hurricane Katrina.  I want to use this as an opportunity to remind myself and everyone on my list that affirmations are not enough.  They are only thought tools to help you take consistent, positive, focused action.  If all you do is repeat Power Affirmations, listen to Power Affirmations, etc., but don't allow them to move you to action, they will have no effect.

iPod - The Ultimate Self-Help Tool

Wow, what an outrageous claim!  Why do I say this?  Simple.  I believe that listening to self-help audio books, seminars, and yes--you knew I was going to say it--Power Affirmations (even ones you record yourself), is the most powerful way to learn and recondition your thinking.  And when you improve your thought habits, your life automagically improves.   And the iPod or other MP3 player is now the best way to listen to self-help content.
